Terry Campbell is currently Co-owner and partner of My Storage Consultants. He has held the position of CEO for a third-party self storage management company. He founded and managed a self-storage lending division at the largest SBA lender in the U.S., specializing in providing capital to the self-storage industry.
His initial introduction to the industry was with a major self-storage building manufacturer, where he started out as a drafter/estimator; eventually advancing to vice president of sales and marketing and executive vice president of operations. He is a partner in numerous self-storage facilities across the country. Terry also served as a managing member and part owner of a large self-storage facility in Northern Virginia in the early 2000’s.
He has served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the ISS (Inside Self Storage) Magazine and the board of the North Carolina Self-Storage Association since its formation in 2003 and has served in various capacities over the years. Terry’s been a key speaker in many seminars, podcasts and webinars offering education and insight to the self-storage industry. He has been a frequent presenter at industry events and trade shows as well as a writer for multiple industry publications. With nearly 30 years of experience in all facets of self Storage, Terry is considered one of the leading experts in the field.
Dr. Ron Adams is currently co-owner and partner of My Storage Consultants. After retiring from a successful Chiropractic practice after 22 years, Dr. Ron Adams dove head first into self-storage by becoming a part owner in a self storage business. What he quickly discovered was there is a lot more to it than buying/building/converting a facility and getting a check in the mailbox each month, Ron has spent countless hours underwriting deals of existing facilities that have value added components for potential self-storage owners and investors.
Having been in business for himself, Ron recognizes the need for a trusted expert and a step by step process that will make becoming an owner/investor simpler. Ron specializes in two things, building solid, trusting relationships and making the complex simple. By listening to our clients and understanding their vision we are able to smoothly and economically guiding them through the process of becoming a self-storage owner/investor.
